Dear colleagues, We would like to inform you that the Greek State Scholarships Foundation (IKY) and the Fulbright Greece will jointly implement a new scholarship scheme to support the mobility of researchers between Greece and the U.S.A. and enhance the cooperation between Greek and American higher education institutions and research institutions/organizations. The program will run for the academic year 2024-2025 and will provide American doctoral candidates attending a U.S. higher education institution with a monthly maintenance allowance in order to carry out dissertation research in Greek higher education institutions and/or research institutions/organizations for a period of six (6) months. Grant benefits provided by the Greek State Scholarships Foundation also include travel, settling-in allowance and research materials allowance. Ph.D. candidates from all disciplines are eligible to apply. The application deadline is October 10, 2023 (at 5:00 p.m. EST), and by this date, the candidate needs to submit, among other documents, a letter of invitation/affiliation indicating the name/position of the host and details about the collaboration with one or more Greek State Universities and/or research organizations/institutions.
