In 2001, she obtained a degree from the School of Dentistry of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki
In 2004, she completed a postgraduate program specializing in Preventive Dentistry at the Department of Preventive Dentistry, Periodontology and Implant Biology, School of Dentistry, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
In 2013, she completed her doctoral dissertation entitled “The antimicrobial peptide LL-37 in the oral cavity” at the Department of Preventive Dentistry, Periodontology and Implant Biology, School of Dentistry, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki

Since February 2017, she has completed four consecutive contracts in Academic Teaching Experience Acquisition projects for Young Scientists Holding a PhD at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
In March 2022, she was elected to the rank of Assistant Professor in the Department of Operative Dentistry at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and in September 2022 she officially assumed her duties following publication of the appointment decree in the Government Gazette (FEK 2017/22-8-2022, issue Γ’).
